'Hipsters run off' blog site is "old hat".
Carles who provides "culturally relevant" commentary for his blog site "hipsters run off". Carles is actually Carlos Perez, college grad from Texas who is now in his mid to late
20’s. The website is more of a Adbuster-esque social experiment,
perhaps mixed with a bit of hate towards cool kids.
Carles says

Nice outfit Carles (below). So, Carlos obviously seems frustrated towards culturally relevant blogs, such as "pitchfork" et al. Rightly so....but how relevant is Carles? Maybe being an "ordinary" dude, his awareness of how such blog zines are pushing their snobbish cultural commentary of what is "8/10" and "authentic" or worth listening to is valid..........Carles is the anti-hip (probably by no choice of his own), looking for the relevant,authentic,cultural and significant . Could Carles commentary come from a bitterness for his own failings as a musician, is that his motivation to almost hate what he deems "hip"? who knows.......
Carles own enemy could be just within.......He seems to hate a band just by a prejudice of what they wear, how they look.......To be authentic, do we have to wear a stripped shirt and tight levi's?
It seems that Carles drinks alot of "lite" beer and soft drinks, rahter than the drinks he is sponsored by
Well Carles, will we ever hear your music? Im sure your relevant to the youth of today drinking lite beer at yours mums home, editing your blog everyday... Maybe your part of the animal collective, the member "big bird".
